Thursday, June 4 ~ We did it!

170 posts ago...my sister and her husband gave me the unique opportunity to share in the life of their little boy ~ It's been a wonderful gift and one that I thank God for every day ~ Jackson is a wonderful baby and he has become a part of our family ~ I cherished the time I had with my kids when they are small and I feel like I've been given a bonus in that I been able to spend time with my Baby Budgie Bear ~ He is perfect, he is wonderful and I am so grateful that I am his Aunt Coco ~ So here is to a wonderful year filled with pictures ~ It is my gift to Katie and Phil as a small token to thank them for their abundant generousity in letting me be a daily part of Jackson's life!

No really...Summer is Jackson's friend ~ We met up at her aunt's house and the two babes had time to visit ~ As you can see both are very fond of the melody maker ~ In the second picture I don't think Summer is diggin' the fact that J is in her high chair ~

Coco was very distracted today and ended up locking her keys in the car after getting Jackson and Gigi out at Bob Evans ~ I not only locked the keys in the car but my cell phone and my wallet ~ Amazingly enough I didn't lock my camera in the car...Uncle Budie came to the rescue!

Friday, May 14 ~ This was a monumental event!

If you are at all familiar with SpongeBob Squarepants, you know that SpongeBob never gives up on having a friendship with Squidward Tentacles no matter how many times Squidward makes it clear that he has no interest ~ In our situation, Baby J is Spongebob and Zoe is Squidward...all year J has made every effort to make in roads with our four legged friend but to no avail UNTIL today...I think Zoe has felt less threatened ever since Jacskon started walking ~ Apparently there is only room for one being to walk on all fours in our house ;)

Jackson wants nothing more than help Gigi play Barbies...Gigi on the other hand would like nothing more than have J leave her Barbies alone ~ This morning Gigi left them out and I couldn't resist letting Jackson get his Barbie fix before Gigi woke up ~ It taught Gigi a great lesson and I don't think she will leave her Barbies laying around anymore ~

Tuesday, April 20 ~ New Rules at the Pool

Now that Jackson can walk he has figured out how to crawl out of his turtle floatie ~ So now all of us including Lorie and the twins are helping to keep him corralled at the pool ~ Will held him long enough for me to get a picture of J's ornery side ~ He is too short to crawl in the baby pool which is what he wants to do ~ We ended up in the big pool and I finally just got in because the fearless baby kept trying to crawl out of his floatie even when he couldn't touch ~ Stopped my heart about a million times!!! I finally settled down once I had him safe on my hip ~ I knew these hips were good for something :)
